Donggu Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Tower

Donggu Revolutionary Base Museum

 

The Memorial Hall of the Donggu Revolutionary Base is located on the left of the Donggu Central Primary School. It is a brick-wood structure. Donggu Civilian Bank

 

In 1928, in order to break the enemy's economic blockade and revitalize the economy of the base area, the Donggu District Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to communicate with the White District and set up the "Tonggu Civilian Bank". This is the two-story building on the south side of the center of Donggu Old Street. It faces southeast and northwest, with a brick-wood structure and covers an area of 169.51 square meters. In October of that year, the Donggu Party organized a fund of 3,000 silver dollars and opened the "Tonggu Civilian Bank". By 1929, it expanded the fund by 8,000 yuan and issued 20,000 yuan in banknotes, which played a significant role in the economic blockade of the fanciful Kuomintang reactionaries. . Donggu District Committee Site

 

The former site of the Donggu District Committee is located on Donggu Old Street. In February 1928, the Donglong (Donggu, Nanlong) District Committee was established on the basis of the Donglong Party Branch. In October of the same year, the Donggu District Committee was established with more than 20 jurisdictions. The branch, as well as the surrounding areas such as Yongfeng, Taihe, Jishui, Xingguo, etc., have more than 300 party members. At that time, Donggu was the center of revolutionary activities and the base camp of revolutionary armed forces in southwestern Jiangxi. In May 1929, the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee decided that Feng would serve as the Secretary of the Special Committee of Ganxi, and held the first party congress in Donggu. Victory camphor

 

150 meters to the right of Aoshang Village Primary School in Donggu She Nationality Township, there is an ancient camphor with a lifespan of nearly 500 years. During the Great Revolution, the people of Donggu Su District called it "Victory Camphor".

 

In mid-May 1931, under the leadership of Mao Zedong, Zhu De, and the Central Soviet Area Bureau, in order to completely smash the KMT’s plot to attack the Central Soviet Area with an army of 200,000 troops, a meeting of 10,000 people was held on Xiaping Zhangshutang. , Won the second great victory against "encirclement and suppression", because the people of Donggusu District happily called this old camphor tree "victory camphor". In the late 1970s, the branches and leaves of Shengli camphor were withered and decayed. In order to protect this precious cultural relic, the People's Government of Jiangxi Province allocated a thousand yuan in 1978 to build a protective wall with rough stones, and cultivated soil and fertilized it.
